Houston based gallery Laura Rathe Fine Art opens 2nd space this month in Dallas.

As contemporary art transforms the landscapes of Texas, Laura Rathe Fine Art arrives on the Dallas art scene via the established Dallas Design District. The newest gallery on Dragon Street will make its debut on Saturday, February 23rd at 6pm with a premiere group artist exhibition entitled “SEE," highlighting abstract expressionist works by various artists, including Cecil Touchon, Tony Magar, Roi James, Meredith Pardue & Gary Beals.

Peering over a stunning panoramic view of the downtown Dallas skyline, LRFA is a unique and stellar 2 story gallery with 5,000 square feet featuring distinctive gallery spaces for the display of paintings, sculpture and mixed media. In addition to hosting artist exhibitions in conjunction with Dragon Streetʼs signature “DRAGON.open” art walks, LRFA will provide art consultation services to private and corporate collectors, as well as to designers and avid art enthusiasts. Starting early February, LRFA will be open weekdays on Monday through Friday from 10am - 5pm, on Saturday from 11am - 5pm, and by appointment.

Laura Rathe FIne Art was formally established in Houston, Texas in 1998 and represents a dynamic artist roster including emerging, mid-career, as well as blue-chip contemporary artists. With a primary focus on abstract expressionist painters, LRFA also represents diverse sculptors and mixed media artists.

About The Owner & Staff

Laura Rathe, a graduate of Southern Methodist University, has been a professional fine art dealer for 15 years and currently owns and runs a contemporary gallery at 2707 Colquitt, Houston, Texas.

LRFA will be run by Director, Janice Meyers, who has 27 years of experience in the Dallas art market and Assistant Director, Courtney Feavel, who has 5 years experience in gallery and artist administration.
